The Beretta 92F, or its military-issued equivalent, the M9, is one of the most common handguns you’ll see imitated on stage or screen. A staple of American Forces since 1985, this model is also used by the L.A.P.D. Replicated to perfection with a beautiful chrome finish, this real-firing model can be placed in the hands of the bad guys or the guys bringing them to justice. Because of its usage by American forces, the gun has been nicknamed “World Defender.”
The 92F and M9 have been featured in hundreds of movies. The minute distinctions between the military-issued M9 and the 92F are only known to the person shooting the weapon, so nearly all armorers stock the 92F, as a working replica M9’s are extremely rare.
