The Blank-Firing Bruni New .380 Revolver – 2" Nickel is a compact, blank-only revolver engineered specifically for use with .380 caliber revolver blank ammunition. This model features a top-firing, fully blocked barrel, making it suitable for controlled blank discharge in training, signaling, and theatrical applications where projectile discharge is not permitted.

Unlike front-firing blank firearms, the barrel on this revolver is completely blocked. When fired, expanding gases vent upward through the top of the frame rather than exiting through the muzzle. This top-firing configuration is a common design for blank-only revolvers and is intended to prevent forward gas discharge through the barrel while maintaining reliable blank ignition.

The Bruni New .380 operates in double-action, allowing the revolver to be fired either by pulling the trigger or by manually cocking the hammer for a lighter trigger pull. A 5-shot swing-out cylinder with locking mechanism provides familiar revolver operation and secure cartridge retention during firing.

Manufactured in Italy by Bruni, this revolver is constructed from durable Zamak (Zama) alloy with soft-touch polymer grip panels. The nickel finish provides a bright, polished appearance, while the 2" barrel length results in a compact overall profile commonly selected for close-range or handheld use.

This revolver is designed to chamber and fire .380 caliber revolver blank cartridges only. It cannot chamber or fire live ammunition and should never be modified or used with any other type of cartridge.
